Have you found a cat?
Sadly, despite all the care that owners may lavish on their cats, many
do go missing. If you find a cat, there are some
practical steps that you can take to try to help re-unite cat and owner.
1 Phone us on
07837 342646 (and leave a message), contact us by e-mail
2 Phone the vets in the area to see if anyone has reported one missing
3 Phone the SSPCA (03000 999 999)
4 Go to our Moray Branch website Lost & Found page, and register the cat on the Animal Search UK website.
It would be very helpful if you could provide a photo of the cat you have found.
Of course, there are times when you find the body of a cat. If you are
able to, please take the cat to a vets, who will scan it, and if it is
microchipped will be able to contact the owners, who will then at least
have the knowledge of what has happened to their missing pet.
